Law Enforcement Pistol Course

Course Dates / Times:

• September 22, 2004 11:00am -- 4:00pm  (5 hours)
• October 27, 2004  11:00am -- 4:00pm  (5 hours)
• November 22, 2004  11:00am -- 4:00pm  (5 hours)

Participants must register by calling Midwest Sporting Goods (see number below) to reserve a course slot.  A deposit is required in order to register.  Walk-ins on the day of the course will not be permitted.

• Duty Weapon

• Magazine Pouch

• Four (4) Magazines

• Eye & Ear Protection

Ammunition:  500 Rounds, must be lead-free FMJ!

Course Description:

The course will cover the following topics:

• Orientation and Safety

• Basic Warm-Up

• Strong- and Weak-Hand Shooting

• Engagement of Multiple Targets

• Close-Quarters, One-Hand Combat Shooting

• Loading / Reloading Drills

• Turning Movements

• Shooting On The Move

• Shooting From Cover and Concealment

A Certificate of Completion will be issued upon satisfactory completion of this five-hour course.
